Deadline: September 15, 2017

Does your organization provide living accommodation for young people who are homeless? Then you can apply for this grant. LandAid is inviting organisations to apply now for grant funding of up to £75,000 for building work for a specific accommodation project. They commit up to £2 million each year for building work to help frontline organisations providing accommodation across the UK to renovate or create a total of 450 bed spaces for young people facing homelessness.

Funding will be available in batches over the next four to twelve months. Applicants who are not yet ready to apply for funding for a specific project can still apply to become a Charity Partner. If successful, they will be ‘pre-qualified’ to be invited to apply for grant funding in 2018.

Benefits

  • LandAid will allocate funding for building work under two grant strands:
    • Renovation: existing properties in need of refurbishment which will provide accommodation, support, and in some cases training, for young people who have been or are at risk of becoming homeless:
    • New buildings: new safe, secure and affordable accommodation for young people who are experiencing
      homelessness.
  • Applicants can apply for grants up to £75,000 to part fund or fully fund building work.
  • LandAid expects to award grants of average £50,000, these grants will be awarded in batches

Applications are invited from:

  • UK organisations with charitable objectives, including:
    • UK registered charities

  • Organisations that can ensure that the funded project is exclusively for young people who are at risk of homelessness and that support is provided to enable them to move forward positively with their lives.
  • LandAid will consider building projects due to start on site within the next two years.
  • Statutory organisations, churches or individuals are not eligible to apply.

Application

The application process has the following stages:

  • You can apply through the online application form.
